The Boys From Syracuse
In December 2025 Joana will be Assistant Directing a benefit concert of The Boys From Syracuse Directed by Jesse Berger with Red Bull Theater. The concert will be staring such actors as Santino Fontana, Nikki Renée Daniels, and Sarah Stiles, among many others.
The Barista
In November 2025 Joana played Clara in this exciting new absurdist Arseniy Fariatiev written and directed play The Barista.
Light Shining In Buckinhamshire
In September 2025 Joana played Brotherton, Sexby, and more in this ensemble play by Caryl Churchill, directed by Talia Feldberg
The Imaginary Invalid
Joana assitant directed The Imaginary Invalid with director Jesse Berger and Red Bull Theater. The production is to open at New World Stages on June 2nd 2025.
Three Sisters
In November of 2024 Joana played Irina in Chekhov's classic, Three Sisters Directed by Talia Feldberg at The Schapiro Theatre.
The Female Pope
Joana Assistant Directed for Johanna McKeon in The New Group and The Pipeline Arts Foundation's June 13th 2024 reading of the striking new musical The Female Pope, which follows the story of Pope Joan.
Forever Miscast
On July 13th 2024, Joana will be directing Forever Miscast, a Cabaret with Megan Chacalos and many other talented performers at the historic Towngate Theatre.
Ariadne
Joana directed an industry reading of the new play Ariadne by Richard Colley and produced by Megan Chacalos on May 31st at Houghton Hall Arts Community in NYC. She is currently working towards further development of the play with news coming out soon!
The Ruminants
On May 20th Joana read the role of Aria in a workshop of Dipti Bramhandkar's new play The Ruminants at Urban Stages directed by Padraic Lillis.
Macbeth
In fall 2023 Joana played 6 integral roles, including Witch 1 and Malcolm in this 7 actor adaptation of Macbeth at The Tank directed by Avery Sedlacek and assisted by Jaycie Buben.
Romeo & Juliet
Joana produced, played Juliet, and led educational workshops through Rue 151's Band of Bards! Band of Bards conducted this first leg of their programming which included a reading of their four actor cut of Romeo and Juliet and interactive workshops, at The Towngate Theatre in 2023. Joana and her team are in the works to grow this programming and educational outreach for more events in 2024!
